Hairdil-5 Solution belongs to the class of ‹vasodilators used to treat alopecia (hair loss). Hairdil-5 Solution stimulates hair growth and slows down the process of balding. Alopecia is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any part of the body.

Hairdil-5 Solution contains ‹Minoxidil, a vasodilator that widens the blood vessels. This vasodilation process helps provide oxygen, blood, and nutrients to the hair follicles, thereby preventing hair cell death and promoting new hair growth. 

Your doctor will suggest the dose and duration based on your condition. Some common side effects of Hairdil-5 Solution include changes in the colour/texture of the hair, excessive hair growth, headache, itching, skin irritation, dryness, shortness of breath, scaling of the skin, and redness. These side effects usually do not require medical attention and gradually resolve during the treatment. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Do not apply Hairdil-5 Solution to shaved, inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful scalp skin. Before using Hairdil-5 Solution, let your doctor know if you have high blood pressure, sunburn, eczema, psoriasis, heart diseases like angina (chest pain), a recent heart attack, and circulation disorders. Hairdil-5 Solution not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Hairdil-5 Solution may cause dizziness, affecting your driving ability; hence, avoid driving or operating machinery until you are alert. Children and adolescents below 18 years should not use Hairdil-5 Solution.
