What are the types of chemical peels?
CP are classified as superficial, medium, and deep, based upon their strength as well as how deep they penetrate into the skin. CP differs based upon how deeply they penetrate into the skin as well as by the type of chemical solution that is used. Factors affecting how deep a chemical peel penetrates include the type of acid used, the percentage concentration of the acid, and the number of coats applied.
